Project information point
An itinerant information point was set up and available for visit for one to two weeks in each municipality where the Catalina Project is being implemented
This measure was aimed at the local population interested in learning about the Catalina project, as well as at attracting talent through the management of visits with educational centres. The itinerant information point has been visited by more than 500 students from schools, high schools, and vocational training centers in the region.
The information points explained the different parts of the project through infographics, audiovisual media and 3D models
Staff from the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation explained the electrolysis process and the different uses of hydrogen and gave live demonstrations while using a model of an electrolyser
Up to today the PIP was visited by more than 2.000 people

Scholarship programme
With a view to training the future professional profiles required by the project, the Catalina Project has created a training scholarship fund in collaboration with the University of Zaragoza and the Government of Aragon that will finance the studies of Aragonese students pursuing Master’s, University Degrees, and Intermediate and Higher-level Vocational Training Cycles.
The Catalina Project scholarship fund will cover the complete training of the selected students, facilitating their subsequent access to a permanent job in the project. It will also benefit students from the areas where the project will be implemented.
Local Development Plan
The Local Development Plan (LDP) of the Catalina Project, will be kicked off when the project starts its construction and channel socioeconomic investments in the municipalities where the project will be implemented.
Through a three-year budget and a distribution mechanism among the affected municipalities the LDP will facilitate funds to initiatives of local interest with profound social impact, such as educational initiatives, social measures, support for the business fabric, support and training measures, contribution to the well-being of neighbour’s and promotion of protection of the historical-cultural heritage of the municipalities.
